Clothing for Confidence Champions are business, religious, and social organizations that distribute C4C Gift Cards to their employees, members, or customers to fulfill with monetary donations. Every $50 raised by Clothing for Confidence Champions will clothe one disadvantaged child from head-to-toe for school.

Simply attach a check to the C4C Gift Card or donate online at www.mynewredshoes.org using JustGive and indicate the name of your organization in the notes section. My New Red Shoes uses the donations to purchase discounted $50 gift cards to clothing retailers so that the children you champion can experience the magic of back-to-school shopping and arrive at school proud and ready to learn.

My New Red Shoes works with local social service agencies to identify homeless and low-income youth who are in need of school clothing. Our partners for 2008 include homeless shelters and other youth-serving agencies from San Jose to San Francisco. My New Red Shoes’ goal this year is to sponsor 1,500 underprivileged children for the first day of school in August!

My New Red Shoes offers holiday, back-to-school, and year-round options for Clothing for Confidence Champions. Clothing for Confidence Champions can receive C4C Gift Cards in the early summer for collection through late July, in August and September for a back-to-school season collection, or after Thanksgiving for the holiday season. In addition, My New Red Shoes can work with organizations who want to tie in a Clothing for Confidence Champion program to company picnics, parties, or other events.

Clothing for Confidence Champions have several creative options for distributing C4C Gift Cards. Some Clothing for Confidence Champions display the C4C Cards in their lobbies and public areas by hanging them on the branches of an indoor plant, placing them in a bowl, or attaching them to a reception desk. Religious groups may distribute C4C Cards in the collection basket during service. My New Red Shoes would be happy to work with you on options to display and distribute your the C4C Gift Cards.

We’re happy to provide a sample announcement for you to insert into your newsletter or send by email to your members. We will also send materials about My New Red Shoes and a poster describing the Clothing for Confidence Champion process with your welcome packet. Finally, My New Red Shoes would be happy to educate your members or employees about our program at any time.
