                            Host a Shoe Drive

Make your next birthday or holiday bash a Shiny Shoes Party! You can transform any event by simply asking friends or co-workers to bring in lieu of gifts brand new shoes, shoelaces, or calculators for homeless and very low-income students.

We need to collect 4,000 pairs of shoes for our 2012 distribution and need your help!

Donations to My New Red Shoes are tax deductible. Click here for donation cards that your guests can fill out, and include them with your donation. My New Red Shoes will mail tax receipts to donors.

My New Red Shoes has specific shoe guidelines:
                            A printable version can be
                            found here.

                            1) Shoes must be brand NEW!
                            2)  Shoes must be "sneakers" (i.e. shoes with a rubber soles, an laces or velcro).  Please DO NOT donate open-toed, sandals, flip flops, ballet flats, dress shoes or rain boots.
                             3) SIZES: Girl’s shoes accepted: youth 9 - women’s 12
                            Boy’s shoes accepted: youth 9 - men’s 16
                            4) Shoes must be well-constructed. Often times these are the
student’s one pair of shoes for the whole year. Let’s make sure it’s a good pair
that will last daily wear and tear.
                            5) Please remove the price tag, but include the shoebox with your
                            donation.
                            6) Solid Black and/or white shoes work best. Colors and patterns are fine but we strongly discourage donations of blue or red shoes due to color restrictions at some schools.
