From the outset, My New Red Shoes has been committed to ensuring that our gifts to homeless and low-income children are much more than a faceless handout. Each child receives a Clothing for Confidence gift in a colorful cotton bag, hand sewn and personally labeled.

This is a fun, hands-on volunteer project that can also be turned into a one-day service project for a group of children or adults. The time, love, and effort you put into these bags will surely make the children feel special. Girl Scout troops, Senior centers, Mothers' groups, Sunday school students, and Corporate groups have all sewn gift bags.
