From our Volunteers:
“How often does a person get the chance to help the homeless? I mean REALLY help? Well today for just a couple of hours, I worked side by side with family members and complete strangers who all had this goal in common. We all wanted to help our communities AND get a sense of the feeling that one person CAN make a difference. It feels great to be part of this group of people, helping out. As a school teacher in Santa Cruz, I know how important it is for kids to feel like the fit in and are similar to their peers. Providing clothes and shoes for the homeless feels great! - Sincerely, Chris & Family
